About the event
Migration in action at one of the south coasts , the Blackthorn will be in blossom, Chiffchaffs and the first Blackcaps will be in and singing. The last of the Brent Geese will still be about, preparing to head North to breed. Waders will be moulting into their summer finery with many mobile flocks heading off to breeding grounds.
We will search the bushes for any newly arrived passerines, scan the harbour for lingering ducks and watch the lagoons and streams for those last winter waders.
